CDM Coordination

In line with the requirements of the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations 2007 JCT provides competent CDM Coordination along with advice and support to all parties involved in Construction Projects

Since establishment JCT has provided environmental, health and safety services including planning supervisor’s responsibilities under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 1994.

Since April of 2007, when the new CDM Regulations 2007 became effective, we have been acting as CDM Co-ordinators, fulfilling a more active role during the design and construction process.

 

CDM Coordinator services include:

 

  • Notifying the HSE of the project
  • Ensuring the Designers are addressing their duties under CDM
  • Providing competent advice to the client regarding their main duties under the CDM Regulations 2007
  • Identifying and collecting the pre-construction information and advising the client of the suitability of his information
  • Ensuring competency of all duty holders and suitability of the Principal Contractors management arragements and resources
  • Reviewing the adequacy of the initial Construction Phase Plan and its development as the project progresses
  • Attending progress meetings
Onsite Consultation

Based on client requirements, site visits and audits are provided at regualar intervals for the duration of your project.  By witnessing your workforce in action we can provide appropriate and practical advice. 

 
Offsite Consultation

By consulting with all parties involved in the project and through facilitation of team meetings, our CDM Coordinators ensure all parties receive advice and support and coordinate and cooperate with one another effectively.
